Balneario Leana *** (Fortuna - Murcia)
Balneario Leana is located in the Mediterranean Motorway, exit Fortuna, at 70 Km from Alicante and at 30 Km from Murcia. During the 90s it has suffered a deep restoration so it has become one of the most charming Health Resort of Spain.
Founded in 1860, It is the most ancien Hotel of the region of Murcia. The restaurat ,created in 1910, is one of the main charms. It was inspirated in the famous Titanic and the Royal Gallery, with portraits of the Kings and Queens that ruled Europe when this Hotel opened. we can also see the unique replica that exists of the Sixtina Chapel out of the Vatican.
Thermal Health Resort: 58 rooms equipped with complete bathroom, heating, air conditioned, telephone, Satellite TV and safe-box.
Built in 1902 and decorated in Victorian style. It still remains the magnificent wooden stairs as well as the gallery where Don Antonio Maura, president of the Government of Alfonso the XII, lived. The Hotel sheltered some ministers meetings at the beggining of the XX century.
